Lamang Tapai


Lamang is glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk with bamboo shoots. Its main ingredient, glutinous white rice, coconut milk, pandan leaves, and a little salt.

In the Land of Minang, food is often a mandatory menu in a party of the people, such as wedding receptions, or circumcision. However, some authors found Minang people are not denied, lamang tapai also identical as typical food in Ramadan. 
For the Minang, lamang tapai is a menu that fits for fasting. Lamak Bana (delicious), so roughly the Minang people. 
lamang flavor is unique. Matching glutinous rice sweet savory nan, combined with the sour black sticky tape.
