Roti Ketawa (Bread Laughter), For the people of North Sumatra, this bread is not foreign anymore. Its shape is round and there are parts of its surface so it looks like a smile / laugh. Perhaps this is the origin of this bread is called by the name BREAD Laugh. Bread laugh in some areas also called Onde onde laugh.
This bread has a texture that is a little harsh, and fragile also recently been in production / cooked.
On the surface is sprinkled with sesame. In the market, this bread can be found in two sizes: small and large, however when visiting the northern Sumatran most large original shape.
This bread will taste better if its texture is hard and brittle and will taste delicious when served with a cup of hot tea.
